Marine grade EH32 structural steel is a kind of hot rolled high tensile strength marine steel plate with the minimum tensile strength at 315MPa. EH32 steel is mainly used to contribute hull of ships and the cranes of break bulker and vessels in low temperature oceans.
EH32 marine steel can be used to manufacture the hull, deck, offshore platforms, etc. It needs to be approved by international classification societies, such as ABS, LR, GL, CCS, NK, DNV, BV, RINA, KR, RMRS, etc.
Marine grade EH32 steel is strong enough to withstand the fatigue that a lifetime spent on the open seas will thrust upon it. EH32 grade and FH32 steel is formulated to hold strong even in extremely low temperatures and is often used for icebreakers.

Notes: 1) The contents of any other element intentinally added is to be determined and reported.
2) If the content of soluble aluminum is not less than 0.015 %, the minimum required silicon content does not apply.
3) Columbium and niobium are considered interchangeable names for the same element and both names are acceptable for use in A01 standards.
4) The indicated amount of aluminum, columbium (niobium), and vanadium applies if any such element is used singly.
5) Ca element need not be reported on the mill sheet unless intentionally added.
